When is Toba Aquarium closed?

We are open 7 days a week year-round, and on all national holidays.

Does Toba Aquarium accept credit cards?

Q

Toba Aquarium accepts most major credit cards. However, we are not able to split payment for transactions. Please note that the Bayside Restaurant, parking lot and some of the other tenants are not able to process credit cards.

How much is the parking fee?

Parking costs 800 yen for one day.

Is re-entry accepted?

Q

Re-entry is possible for same day only. Before leaving the aquarium, please get your hand stamped by the exit.

Do you offer support in other languages?

Toba Aquarium does have some staff who can speak basic English. Most other languages are supported with the use of automatic translation. We offer maps in English, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and French.

Is there Wi-fi at the aquarium?

Yes, we have free Wi-Fi access to all visitors. The ID and Password are displayed inside the aquarium.

Do you have coin lockers at the aquarium?

There are two sets of coin lockers for the aquarium: one in front of the ticket office and one in front of the central entrance.Coin lockers cost 300-400 yen, and there is no time limit for use. Only cash is accepted.

Do you have wheelchairs or strollers available for rent?

We lend out wheelchair and strollers to visitors who need them free of charge. You can rent them at Entrance and Information Desk. Please note that the available number is limited, so it is first come first serve.
